Our hot yoga classes are taught in a clean and spacious yoga studio in New York City. Our certified yoga instructors are experienced in guiding practitioners of all experience levels. Everyone is encouraged to practice within their own abilities and explore the benefits that a hot yoga practice may bring.


New to Yoga

Yoga is for everyone! Taking your first step onto the yoga mat is an exciting new beginning. Whichever style class you participate in, we believe it’s important to begin your journey with the highest standard of instructional expertise and in the best environment. Building a solid foundation is an integral initiation to your yoga practice. Step onto the mat with an open mind. At Hot Yoga Chelsea any class is a great place to begin your practice. You will practice yoga alongside beginners and experienced practitioners alike, and all Hot Yoga Chelsea classes offer the means to explore yoga in a safe and fun environment. The practice and your strength, stamina, and knowledge builds week by week, providing a solid foundation to inspire you for future classes at the next level.

How To Prepare


I began practicing yoga in March 2014. After I began practicing, my body leaned, strengthened and bent with ease. I had been having issues with my back from distance running and my hips from having children. This all softened and vanished as my yoga practice grew. Mentally is where I see a significant change. I sleep better, have more clarity, feel more patient but most of all am present in the moment. A great deal of this came through learning to breath and relax - funny that I actually had to learn to do that better! I love practicing at Hot Yoga Chelsea because it has grown into a family for me. The instructors are invested in your growth and the journey you choose to take. I feel like that 'love' is something that you leave the mat with and have ample opportunity to spread throughout your day.

I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years. Since, I've been practicing at Hot Yoga Chelsea, I've lost 10 plus pounds and I am fitting into clothes that I have not worn in 4 years!!!
